The first school rally has finally come, it was a blast! As students were walking in they were greeted by the cheers of the leadership students who helped prepare for the rally all day. We had many fun games to play such as the caterpillar race and chicken launch. Everybody was involved and was sure to have a good time.
Computechs own cheerleaders started out the rally with their dance routine to the song Work it by Missy Elliott. They were certainly a show stopper with their unique moves, stunts, and flips. After their amazing performance the Edison cheerleaders then took the lead. It was very enjoyable and well put together. The Edison cheerleaders got the crowed pumped with their impeccable cheers.Though our Computech cheerleaders were great the Edison cheerleaders are far more advanced.
After the cheerleaders performance followed the games. The games played at the rally are this blows, caterpillar race, chicken launch, drag me down, and race the snake. These games were very fun and go the student AND teachers involved. People were running, launching rubber chicken, jump roping, and flat out falling. The scene was very entertaining. The teams were made of 7th graders and 8th graders. Are you team 7th grade or team 8th grade?
What is a rally without honouring the students who played sports and students with a GPA (grade point average) of 4.0 first quarter? That’s rhetorical question, don’t answer that. At the rally, all of the students that participated in first quarter such as football, volleyball, golf, and cross country were honoured by being called to the center of the gym. This also goes for the student that succeeded first quarter with a 4.0 GPA. They then proceeded to play a game with those certain groups of students.
Obviously, the first quarter rally was very fun. We got to get out of class and celebrate making it through first quarter. It was an exhilarating experience that was very much anticipated. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the next rally because NO ONE CAN HIDE OUR PRIDE!
